The OMP M1 electric helicopter is the little brother to the incredibly popular M2. While it’s size is quite micro, it’s performance envelope is not. For pilots looking to keep their fingers warm in the winter months and have access to an indoor flying location. Outside or inside, there is no limit to what the M1 can do.

M1 shares all of the design traits from its bigger brother – dual brushless motor operation, and an “all in one” style flight controller that includes dual ESCs, gyro, and receiver.

Receiver Notes:
The M1 is offered in two versions; SFHSS and OMP. The differences are outlined below:

OMP: This version includes a built in receiver that is “OMP Protocol”, and compatible with the OMP Radio, and Radiomaster radios. The pitch and throttle curves are not adjustable – and are set from the factory. An ideal choice for the beginner pilot.

SFHSS: This version includes a built in receiver that supports “SFHSS” Futaba style protocol. It is directly compatible with Futaba radios that output S-FHSS protocol, and radio master radios. UNLIKE the OMP version, the SFHSS version allows pilots the ability to adjust their throttle and pitch curves – and ideal choice for the intermediate to advanced pilot.

Receivers that are PLUGGED INTO the gyro: Any receiver that is plugged into the gyro system will OVERRIDE the internal built in receiver system, and will accept DSM2/DSMX satellites, as well as the OMP Hobby Futaba satellite receiver. Please refer to the notes above about which model has adjustable throttle and pitch curves!
